The Halina line of cameras
are marketed by
W. Haking Marketing Ltd
Hong Kong, China
They are built by several different manufacturing facilities in China and W. Haking exports the cameras to the USA and other countries.
Apparently the only source of service/information is in China.
The above link shows their telephone numbers and email address.
I suggest you try the email, because you will need to know the Chinese language in order to telephone them.
W. Haking is one of several Chinese Marketing firms that are dumping inexpensive cameras onto the American Market. Past experience of getting satisfactory service from this type of company has been dismal.
The Halina DV3000L appears to be another bare-bones digital camera that is little more than a toy. They are typically sold on auction sites such as eBay. The camera specifications show it to be 3 megapixels and no optical zoom.
Hi all, I have a Halina DV3000L camera/camcorder. I've never heard of the company, and it was a gift so I don't know where it came from. It's a pretty good cammera in most respects, but if your in mic mode or video mode it records extremly distorted audio. Does anyone know where I can find some tech support for this thing?
