sound has echo

Feb 17, 2004 5:31AM PST

I have and "echo" when I listen to internet media. I am using a Dell 4550 with win xp and a creative sb live sound card. No one seems to be able figure out problem.

Thanks for any help

The SB LIVE card's controls have an ECHO setting. Turn that off.

A second option is go into your program file taskbar menu, find creative, then mouse the sb live submenu, and then click restore default settings.

Where do you go for SB Live cards controls? Tried to restore factory setting in creative restore defaults but that just knocked the sound completely out - no sound at all.

Thanks,

It's in the EFFECTS menu. But you may have out of date SB Live drivers.
