Sound Card Failure/run32.dll?

I installed a new video card in my dell 8100 and my computer crashed so i restored it and got it all working and then it crashed again but booted up and everything was fine.. except my sound card doesnt work and i have installed its driver over and over agaain and it always says its installed but its never there under multimedia audio device.... after my computer crashed when ever i boot up my computer it always says an error message with the run32.dll kernal something doesnt work and will close? does that affect everything im lost help ME!???!?!
