Sound Blaster X-Fi tested and measured.

C|Net has been pretty quiet about this card. There's an in-depth preview on THG:

It looks very promising--a gaming card that actually might sound good. (Or perhaps a music card that plays games too?) The current Creative E-mu cards don't play games very well, and the Sound Blaster Live! and Audigy cards don't play music as well as they should (some models resample everything to 48 kHz). Maybe Creative is merging the two product lines together? If not, I can't wait to see the cards that will succeed the E-mu 0404, 1212m, and 1820m.
