You can see if:
1. The HDMI cable mentions ARC. I use AMAZONBASICS because cheap and has the wiring needed for ARC.
2. See if the TV has a firmware update.
3. Check all the menus on both devices as to ARC (I'm not there to see the menus.)
4. Return the Sony and see if there's an Insignia bar. I find this to work at times when the maker is the same for TV and bar.
Hi I just bought a Insignia TV 55DF710 along with a Sony Sound Bar HT-S100f. I connected the two HDMI ARC slots but there is no sound from the sound bar. Can anyone assist me please?
