I'm not sure if you've heard of xbox live. Anways to get back on topic, I have an xbox live mic for online play and it's a really cheap mic and it has the same problem that you just described. Whenever I move it around in different directions I can barely hear anyone talking, and when I turn it in a specific direction I can fully hear. It could be a mic problem. Check out your mic before you go and buy a new CD/MP3 player.
Hello, I have been having a problem with my audio on my CD player and on my Mp3 Player (Sandisk 256MB). It seems that when I move the headphone connection around in its port the sound seems to go in and out. Although I still do hear what appears to be the song only half-there. I noticed when I put the balance at anything but 100% Left and right, the sound seems to comes back. I'm really not sure what to do now. A week ago I was just able to hold the headphone connection in one certain spot to maintain the sound, but now I get that half-way-there audio no matter what I do. By half-way-there I mean it sounds a lot like all the main instruments are silenced and you hear the background instruments and some odd static noise.
I'm really eager to fix this so I can use my MP3 player again. My friend seems to have had this issue before, but he just replaced his CD player. Is there any way to fix it?
