SOS CPU fan revving and randomly very loud

Aug 9, 2018 8:18PM PDT

Im not very knowledgeable about computers and especially not about all of the specs but I've had this computer for the past 4 years or so I've personally upgraded the graphics card and have been thinking about getting liquid cooling system but lately my stock fans have just been revving like crazy very loudly and it's loud all the time I've checked my processes and barely any of my CPU is being used about 3% and it's still revving and the system is at a normal temp not sure what I can do to fix this problem

Get a can of air.

Get all the heatsinks and fans nice and clean.

Look close as the heatsinks can become clogged over time.

While your in side the case get the rest of it nice and clean.

Check if the cpu hsf is securely mounted.

Leave the side panel off and test.

At 4 years a fan may need replacing as the bearings are gone. I get a lot of my replacement fans from Newegg.com and Amazon.com.
