Question

SOS!!! BIOS reset help! Save Our System!

Jan 10, 2016 3:13AM PST

So while I was inside uefi utility setup I switched between "Legacy ROM" and "EFI Compatible" and after saves changes and rebooting my PC all I have is a blank screen and I have no way of viewing what I've done and no way of undoing this. Ive already attempted to reset the BIOS through the motherboard jumper and removing and replacing the CMOS battery to get into the BIOS again to no avail. PLEASE help!! I've been searching through an extensive amount of forum threads and Google pages and turned up with nothing that seems useful.

Answer
This sounds more like a failed board than a simple reset.

Get estimates since repair today seems to be more than a new board or system.

Answer
If under warranty, use that

You could try flashing the BIOS, but if it doesn't work and under warranty, never admit it, especially since it was already not working. Maker?
