Sorces for burning quality CD's with jazz music

Jan 15, 2005 12:56AM PST

What are the best techniques for recording and transferring jazz from different sources to making CD's in my laptop. I am set up to do so but desparately need help with:
a. Software for streaming jazz on radio stations to CD
b. Developing good sources for downloads of music that can ultimately be put in CD form.
In general what is the best "package" to achieve this? I have an Avaratec 6100 laptop. Thank you,

Bob Masteller

Buy the CD.

You also tripped over a small landmine by using the word "best". This means software you may have to pay for.

I'm not sure there's anything available that will allow you to capture streaming audio from a radio station to burn later, that's legal. There are a lot of music stores like Napster, Rhapsody, etc. where you can pick up some reliable downloads.
