Question

Sophix Tablet wont load up

Jun 25, 2014 7:31AM PDT

Ok so I bought my Sophix 7" 8GB tablet before I left the USA from GameStop.
Everything was working fine until I turned it off mid-flight to conserve battery.
When I tried turning it back on, it wouldn't go passed the 'spinning circle' of loading, it won't start up at all even if it's fully charged.

HELP!

https://www.google.com/search?q=Sophix and reviews find this under 99 buck tablet isn't well reviewed. Try the usual factory resets you find on the web and count it as the lesson learned.

Hmmmm

I appreciate that Bob, but this was my only option to have contact with my family in the USA...
It may not be one of the best tablets out there but it's all I have so I really need more constructive help than just look at the reviews and pretty much throw it out Angry

Thanks for that.

I googled the reset and well, maybe I should have supplied it but looking at the reviews I found them to be unkind at best.

Do you remember the guy with the tablet that reset to Chinese? Took some finding but we got there in the end.

At the office we are writing Android apps so at first we tried a lot of no-name models and came away feeling pretty burned. I can only imagine everyday Joe/Jane when they have one of those.

Just today I saw a refurb Nexus 7 for ... 89 bucks. Can't tell what shape it was in but I can write I no longer look at the no names.
