Question

Sony Xperia keyboard

I need some help with the keyboard when texting. When texting , for some reason the keyboard and numbers have reversed themselves. Normally when starting to text, the keyboard appears first and if you wanted the numbers, you pressed the 123 key. Simples!!! However, this has now changed to the numbers keyboard appearing first and then you have to press the ABC key to get the letters up. Can anyone help me to rectify this problem please?

" Make sure that you have the latest update for the Xperia keyboard from Google Play. You could also try to clear data for Xperia keyboard under settings > apps > all > restart your device and try again."

Thank you to both of you. Trouble is, I am a complete novice as this is my first smartphone so everything sounds (and is) double dutch!!!! I will give your suggestions a go and sees where it leads me. I can't understand, why, after working perfectly OK that it suddenly changes it's mind and reverses what it normally did. It is quite clear, technology and I don't make the perfect duo. Thaks again.

Reset your complete phone, but don't forget to take backup

If you have tried updating your keyboard from play store then you should reset your complete phone.
