SONY XBR1 question about the pixelation during fast movment?

Is there an upgrade to reduce this effect during viewing? How do you get the upgrade?

But most of the time pixelation is caused by weak signal, signal compression by the broadcaster, and in most cases TV setting and some times the TV it self.

the only thing you can try is, check the signal, and get the TV calibrated.

the only time I ever see pixelization is when I am dealing with an overly compressed signal from digital cable or a weak signal from an over the air antenna. A DVD or Blu-ray disc looks great, even during explosions and fast moving scenes.

I would be really surprised if a high quality set like the XBR1 would suffer from macroblocking because of internal circuitry. What is the source for the video that is giving you a problem?

It was the Comcast cable signal. I do no think that I see this on the DVD or Blu-ray. I will have to check.
