The wifi security is less than WPA. A kiddie hijack tool hijacks your connection and not the other machine.
The CNET Networking forum has more detail but here's the router setup noted there.
1. Router defaults.
2. Simple SSID broadcasting (or some machines drop out)
3. WPA security.
I have a fairly new Sony Vaio SR laptop. The problem is that my internet connection will basically disconnect by itself and then work for a couple of minutes and then disconnect again. By the way, it is a wireless connection.
I don't think it is the router that I am using because the problem doesn't occur in my other laptop (Toshiba).
How can I fix this problem? Is it my router or is it the hardware on my laptop?
