Sony Warranty Plans

Jun 6, 2005 1:41PM PDT

I was about to purchase a S480 notebook from sonystyle.com when I was greeted with a warning message that said I could not have a notebook with accidental insurance as part of the warranty plan shipped to Pennsylvania. First of all, why is this? So then I saw in the fine print that accidental insurance can be had on notebooks if they are bought through sony's small business website. So I went to configure my machine there and there were no warranty plan options that I could choose from. SO to my question: is there any way to get the accidental insurance on the laptop and still have it shipped to where I live in Pennsylvania.

Thanks,

Chris
