Sony Walkman MP3 player music transfer question (SonicStage)

Is there a way for me to transfer music onto a Sony MP3 player (E405 I believe) without using their software?

I have a bunch of songs I want to transfer to someone else's player. They are all in MP3 format on my PC here at work. But I don't have the admin rights to install the software on my PC.

Any alternatives?

Thanks

As far as I know it is not possible to transfer music to Sony mp3 players without using Sonicstage or Connect player. I know its really annoying why cant they make a program that doesnt eat up your computers memory and has many horrible glithces I dont know. To answer your question though I am pretty sure that you cant but let me know if you manage to.

Actually there is a way. MP3 File Manager Application allows transfer of MP3 files directly to your Sony

Actually, no. The File Manager would not help me in my situation as it is just a different program that I need to install. I'm in the same boat with that one.

A few years ago, I had a panasonic MP3 player where all I needed to do was drag that songs from the folder to the drive with the MP3 player. End of story. No software to download.

Thanks for the replies

Why not just use the player as a jump drive.. transfer the songs and have them load the songs using sonicstage later.. That's what I usually do when sharing files with someone with admin rights issues.
