Sony walkman - album art

Jul 22, 2009 11:10PM PDT

I just bought a new sony bluetooth walkman and I'm having problems transfering my music across.
I can click and drag the music from my computer to the walkman but I can't get the album artwork to come across.
I've tried to look for the image files so I could try to manually add them after moving the music across but I couldn't find the files.

I just want to be able to drag the folder over and have the image more with it automatically.

I also tried to use the media manager that the walkman came with but thats not working at all for some reason.

If anyone with any walkman knowledge can help me out I would be very greatful! Happy

...so I'm not sure whether there's anything to that app that might cause issues with your Sony.

But I seem to have occasional problems with album art embedded in certain MP3 files. No matter what software I use to link the album art to the song file the art never shows up on any of my Sonys or on my Creative Zen X-Fi. However that same art+song file shows up just fine on my 2G Touch and my Zune 80.

What I've discovered is that Sonys appear to have problems with certain image files. I took the album artwork of two songs (from different albums and artists, btw) that the Sony wasn't showing...and stuck copies into the PICTURE folder on my Walkman. The files are JPEGs that I had done some editing to, although really no more than usual. I tried using the Picture Viewer app on my Sony to view them...no go. ALl I get is a broken icon indicating that there's something wrong with them. Guess my X-series Walkman just didn't understand the two images at all, even though there are other devices that I own that have no problems whatsoever.
