Sorry, but all Sony products are off my list until they fess up. One lie after another on the subject and even when the news was out they grudgingly responded.

True to that statement. Lies all lies. And too much stealing, and then lying about stealing technology. Don't settle for this type of crap from a company do something about it... Don't buy there products.
Actually I like all three. Sony, for its games and electronics. Microsoft, because I use for my computer, and a computer is very useful. Nintendo for its Mario theme, and games. I don't know for sure what console and getting first and which one will be the best for sure, but I'm taking a quick guess that Xbox 360 might be a little better. I'll just wait and see until PS3 comes out, but hopefully it will have better games than Xbox 360. I don't care too much about the Nintendo Revolution because I already know that its gonna suck. Whatever bests
I love both Sony and Microsoft, but I don't really like Nintendo in any particular way, also I think that Revolutions, or Wii sux. But its just my opinion. Sony and Microsoft are for mature players whereas nintendo is for inmature and kids audiences.
lawrence!!! finally i can argue with you some more. this time you have no where to go. i should report you for your meany weenie comments. playsation is total anime, and nintendo is total cartoons. the xbox has atleast some cartoons, anime, and real looking people. and its by a more reliable company. Who do you trust more. a huge multi-billion dollar company, a semi big company, or a small company thats been going out of business. Seriously, nintendo has been going downhill. the n64 was ok because it barely had any competition, except fpr the ps1. but the gameboy had no competition. then the gamecube came out. this wasnt a success. two companies that have better games, gameplay, and graphics. not to good for profits. but still, no other company had invented a portable console yet. as you see, the gameboy kept nintedo in business. but now the psp came out. better games, internet acess, dvd's, better graphics, and cooler looking. what would you rather buy: a little computer, or a oddly shaped gameboy, with the same games as the original gameboy, with two screens. As i was saying, nintendo is dying a slow and painful death. theyre just making remakes, which get boring. Thus, people stop buying those games ehich just speed up the inevitable crash.
You just promoted the Xbox360 as a reliable system come on the thing is a giant heat box right now they need to work on that and they aren't going to refund you for that first system that fails on you and in case you didn't get the notice on the first Xbox there was a recall for a heat issue as well. I trust microsoft over sony but not over nintendo right now I still have a working N64 and SNES that were bought early on and neither of them has ever had a issue while my first ps is gone b/c the laser died same for ps2 which started taking 30 mins to start a game luckily I waited past the first year to get my Xbox and didn't have to deal with the recall. Point is who you going to trust the company that is actually dedicated to gaming b/c that's all they do and they do it with quality right off the bat not eventually down the line. btw check out your history the gameboy beat out the atari handheld to gain that dominance in the 80's and the psp is the same idea as the ps3 which may lead to its downfall you should of already noticed the decreasing adds for the dvd funtion of the psp mostly b/c its not dvd its its own special format the screen is very sensitive and easily dirtied. Ehhh the points this when you build something like this sometimes its worth the extra delay in time putting it out to refine it rather than just trying to add every piece of new technology you get in.
finally someone who thinks sony and microsoft are going to beat nintendo. nintendo has never been very good at embracing new technology. that's one reason I don't like them.
Well, I would get nintendo if I was looking for pure gaming, durability, and graphics. Playstation works for someone looking for extra features. I would'nt get anything from Microsoft though. But hey, if you have the $$, get em' all!!!
interms of under-the-hood specs, this is the repective order of best to worst.
Hope this helps,
Mm01
Rev 'll have the great games that only Nin can offer. The "remote" has great potential provided Nin doesn't screw this up. For those who doubt Nin and their wacky controller, keep in mind that Nintendo's controller has been copied and adapted many times already
360 has good graphics, but IMO, they don't look any better than current gen games. I hear it'll take at least a year before the devs can make full use of all the specs (graphics, processors, etc.) to get the best possible High Def quality and Surround Sound.
PS3 also has high-def support, but like liek Rev, it's too soon to tell for this.
In the end, I think I'll end up getting a Rev and maybe a 360 and/or PS3 or even a PS2 in lieu of the PS3
If you look over the next gen consoles, many have very cool and interesting specs, but there are two systems that are basically the same thing as their predecessor but with better graphics. The one system that seems to stand out is the newlly inovative Nintendo System, which uses new gyroscopic technology in its controler while the other systems are still using hand-held controllers. Also the games that will roll out for the Revolution will be less expensive than say the PS3 games, which may reach the price range of 70 or 80 dollars. This is due to the fact that the PS3 is using blue-ray optical technology. But back to the fact that NIntendo is a much more inovative and better system. The games are easier to understand and better to learn than other games on other systems. Even though a lot of the games are meant for younger audiences hardcore gamers that play the Halo games don't even make up more than 30 percent of the total gaming population, so having these interesting and fun party games from Nintendo really shows how important it is to have this system. I find that graphics arn't always the most important item in a system but the inovation and technology that went into the system.
Xbox is going to rule the console wars. I mean who wants to play pong with a wireless controller? The Wii has the cheapest hardware of them all, the kiddiest games, and the worst commercials. I mean they show people over 85 playing some gam where you have t chop tomatoes. And the Wii is finally getting online service! After its been out for 5 years! And the Wii dosnt even have HD hook up! The DS has the worst games on it. Worio ware touched is a game where there is absoluely no story, no point to the game. All you is continue beating the same mini games till you run out of lives. And who wants to play pack man pack and roll? And sony? Who wants to pay over $700 for a system that has about the same hardware as a Xbox 360? PS has a lot of good games, but their new console is a huge rip off! The PSP has the best graphics of all the consles, but who wants to buy a DVD that you can only watch on your PSP? Xbox has not ans many games as PS, but theyve been out for a lot less time. But thay have a lot of really good games. Well, thats my two cents.
have a small system that doesn't take room, and offers revolutionary design and free online gameplay. And costs a whole lot less than 400 or 600 dollars
compare the three consoles with each other because the 360 and the PS3 count on graphics while the wii depends more on the way u play the game. BTW alpha5000 you canot compare todays games with pong. It just dosnt make any sense.
because on their comercials, Nin shows people playing pong wih their new wireless controller.
comes in a game that automatically comes with the tennis game i showed u and the golf and other games. So that would be a game that includes like little minigames. And dont u criticize (did i spell that right?) that because some people dont want to play games as complex as Halo or Metroid because they just want to stick with the simple and easy games. And thats what this game is!
Nin is just trying to get all their fans excirte about their new console just because of the controller. They just callet a "revolutionary" idea, but there are going to be some huge falts with it. For one you can only be a certain distance away, and you cant do any sword fighting with it (or not any fancy moves) because the two recievers have to be pointing at each other. There will be a ood chance that their "revolutionary controller will be a faliue and become a neusance like the GC mini disks. They are not focusing their attention to quality. Apart from having bad hardware, I saw the E3 video of twilight princess, and the graphics look similar (but somewhat worse) from the ocrina of time for N64. I should know, I have them. So, that proves my point. And the person testing it looks really stupid (would use a different word but dont want to get banned) using the controller as a bow. It seems to me that Nin has run out of ideas, or trying to find a way to lower the obesity of american children (since thats who their games are targeted to)
about the graphics, u musnt say they suck until you have actually played the game urself and plus when you film something thats on TV on camera no matter what it is it looks very different than what it actually does look like. And for the controler, there are two possible out comes
1) Its as u said gonna be a failure and gona ruin nintendo
2) This is going to work really well and attract more people to play the wii.
c u tomorrow in school!
you understand, that the graphics looked that way becuase they were being run off of gamecubes. Not actual Wii consoles.

Tell me crugg. Have you ever played Elder Scrools 3 or 4? Now tell me, in your opiion, what is the best RPG from Nintendo. Since I have seen almost none.
nintendo dosent have too many rpgs but that dosent mean that the ones that it has arent bad. for example Baten Kaitos and Tales of Symphonia are incredible games but have you ever even played them?
First and formost if your talking RPG's you better go back and change your choice to ps because it shouldn't even be argued they have the most. Second did you miss that whole thing on Zelda just curious b/c that is just one of the popular ones you should know about the others you needed to own the system to know about b/c we all know who one the last war of the consoles and thus got the gaming licenses. Out of curiosity if you wanted to play Elder Scrolls with all that it had to offer same for Oblivion why would you play it on an Xbox and not your PC I mean if you wanted go out and get 400 bucks of upgrades to your PC it will run quite nicely. Btw the point of a game as simple as pong in advertising is to show that your product can appeal to many audience not just the hardcore gamer I mean have you ever tried getting a non gamer to play a game like halo they never get past controlling all 3 diminsions. The points this you buy a game like mario party to play with friends and family b/c its easy and fun to play in a group and its easy to understand by to everyone if your sitting there playing it yourself well your not using the game for what it was intended for go buy and rpg and sit by yourself and play it that's what a game like that is for. Anyways one last point the Revolution codename isn't only the controller its about the idea with this console while everyone else throws together a system trying to uses the most high tech gadgets and end up with something that passes as working when it is released nintendo has choosen to step back and produce a system that is going to be more reliable ie not overheating xbox360 from its release date its laser won't fail ie ps. They are going to sell for less and have a system that is more refined with much fewer bugs that's the revolution.
First off, the poin of a next gen console is that it is better than its predecesor (not like the wii that has the same hardware as gc) and the newest and best technology. Plus, nintendo cant justify selling the Wii for a penny more. If they did it would be a rip off. And I hate FF. They are all basically the same and they only depend on their cut scenes. Its not bad to have a few simple games, but with all the ones that nin is putting out tells me only one thing... They are running out of ideas. And you couldn't speed up your computer that much with $400. And plus, I use Mac so I dont have to upgrade it. PC's SUCK. Whenever my iMac has a problem, the solution is, restart it and everything is back to normal. Ive only had to do that twice in 6 months. And the recall with the overheating, my brother has a PowerBook G4 and he had a recall on all the battery units. All he had to do was go to the store, give in the old one, and they gave him a new one. And how much u wanna bet that there is going to be something wrong with that controller. Nin is not going to put tons of money into giving the controller the best hardware because their aiming for low prices.
Yeah twice is good is still and improvement so stop this bit about its nothing at all if you really think that there is no improvment at all you shouldn't post things like its graphics card is only slightly better not going to comment on the slightly there just the fact that you said better so your first point is invalid. Also the point of a next gen system is to improve your gaming not to put the latest technology into it if you want that this console war anyways you'd have a ps3 not an xbox360 you get what you pay for with hardware and your not going to get as much for 200 dollars less. As for the FF games being the same the closes they ever come to being the same storywise is FFX and FFX-2 true the cut scenes are one of the nicest parts of that but how can you justify argueing graphics and then not liking the cut scences which are a direct result of them. Plus I only mentioned the FF games b/c they are the most popular RPG games here in the US if you don't like that try dragon quest, kindom hearts, suikoden, Front mission, Fire Emblem, .hack, dark cloud, Jade cocoon, La Pucelle or Phantasy Star doubt you've played even half of those but they are all RPG's for the ps2 the leader in that area. And really not going to get into a computer discussion on a gaming forum expecially when looking at iMac but I will say this to believe a computer built with the same parts as a PC except for the G4 processor running a different OS is some how immune to upgrades well in short answer form your wrong I mean apple builds a quality product but your wrong in that belief in it otherwise I'd be writing this on a Apple II with my 4k of ram. As for the return policy yes they do that so they don't get sued when that battery does w/e it was doing wrong Microsoft did the same thing when their early Xbox's started starting fires. Finally Nintendo is doing what a company is suppose to do which is aim for the largest group of consumers you can for the gamers you can play a great looking game like the new Zelda available when the Wii releases and for the casual gamer something like Smashbrothers or yeah maybe Mario party will keep you entertained.
What i meant about FF is that the cut scenes are good, but the fighting system and other aspects of the game are not. The cut scenes are amazing, but the in game graphics are mediocre. And I think tht turn based fighting is really boring. That is what a lot of companies do at conventions like the E3 is show only cut scenes that make the game look awsome. And in super smash brothers brawl, they put solid snake, a sony character into it. To me this does not make a good impression because it looks like they are copying other systems characters or they are running out of ideas.
Running around in a game is one thing but the FMV are really what take a toll on your graphics card and your systems processor and I believe that is one of the other reasons they show off these things at E3 everybody but the most novice of gamers know that the whole game doesn't look like that but its still something you look forward to like the climax of a movie I think half the people that bought FF7 just loved the reactor scene they showed on tv so much they considered the game worth it. However I do agree with you the recent games have become a bit to reliant on these stunning shows of graphics in replacement for actual story line. As for the turn based fighting its suppose to instill a sort of strategy into the the game instead of just mindless fighting or button mashing I mean with a game like Kindom Hearts its fun and all but there isn't exactly a strategy to what you should do when you encounter an enemy you don't get a chance to stop and think about it you just hit the button, as a side not I think for quite a while now they have been adding in the option to turn off turn based mode and simply attack back and fouth. Lastly and just so you know Metal Gear gained more popularity on the PS but its not a PS game and was on a nintendo far before it was on a playstation the first system it was on was actually a japanese only console called the MSX. To make the history of the game short it was popular there brought here developed by famicom and put on the Nintendo in 1987 a decade later 1997 it would release on the PS 1. So well if anyone copied it was Sony from Nintendo or the MSX but really its not sony or nintendo here its Konomi I believe who makes the game and they can choose to sell their characters to whomever they want thus snake in super smash brothers.
