Gamer laptops and 2 years later.

I see the Sony has a gamer bent with that ATI Mobility Radeon HD4570.

The Lenovo looks to have the Mobile Intel GM45 Express which is actually a favorite of mine for everyday laptops that you get for 700 or less bucks from HP, Toshiba and others.

The gamer laptops tend to last only a few years so take that into account if you go with the gamer unit.

You have to answer that.

One has a gamer graphics solution, the other is your run of the mill working class laptop. The only problem I have with gaming laptops is that many put blinders on and won't accept that these have shorter life spans.

What fails in said laptops is not something you really can pin down. Read the forums like the Laptop Troubleshooting forum and you find out there are about 18 parts. The gamer laptop life span from my view seems to lop off at least a year if not half that of a non-gamre laptop. What would you expect for stuffing all that into this much space?

Ask around to get a feel for laptop lifespans.
