Sony Viao PCV-RS 420 Problems NEED HELP

I bougt a new Sony Viao PCV-RS 420 and after 5 months of using it there has been a problem.

Problem : My Windows XP Proffesional screen does not load. It brings me up to a black page that says " We aapologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A Recent hardware or software change might have caused this. "

There are these options at the bottom of this.

1. Safe Mode
2. Safe Mode with Networking
3. Safe Mode with Command Prompt
4. Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent setting that worked)
5. Start Windows Normally

Note : I chose all of these and it still did not work.

Please if anyone had this problem help me. As i am not that good of a computer person.

I am not quite sure that you hit Safe Mode with Command Prompt, if you can bring up a CP, this may help:
