Try the reset noted there. And do not plug in any USB or other devices.
A couple weeks ago my wife and I were using the laptop religiously while our desktop was packed away in our moving boxes. For several days straight we'd leave the laptop on with either the screen closed or in a "sleep" mode. Suddenly one day, my wife went to use the computer and noticed the screen wouldn't come on. You could hear the computer still on " you could hear the fan, the lights on the far right corner of the keyboard end would blink, etc but there was nothing on the screen.
Anyhow, I figured we may have burned out the screen so I figured I could bypass that problem by using my computer desktop monitor. I dug it out, plugged it to the laptop, restarted the laptop and nothing.
Is anyone familiar with this problem or offer any suggestions on what could be wrong?
