Question

Sony Vegas Pro 13 problems

Feb 27, 2016 5:44AM PST

Hello, I have a problem with sony vegas pro 13. So let me start from the beginning. My hardware is
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 5670 1GB RAM,
RAM: 4GB
CPU: AMD Athlon II x3 450
I have OpenCL available but not GPU available.
So the problem is that I have upgraded to Windows 10 and I had a problem before 5 months. My HDD broke and I bought a new one (which I think isn't so informative and needed). I installed Windows 10 on my new HDD and everything worked perfectly. So the problem comes when I use Sony Vegas Pro 13. I do some settings to the project like 1080p 60fps and import the video file (which is around 20 min or so) and edit it. After this I render with there settings: (I made my own template from Main Concept AVC/.....)
FPS: 60,00000
Resolution: 1920x1080
Render: using OpenCL
So I've stuck with these settings for a looooong time and they've rendered my previous videos for about 1h-1:30 h (again 20mins max long videos), but I stopped recording videos for about 5-6 months and stopped making videos and rendering of course. And now when I finally wanted to make a video and made the project and started rendering it take 4 or more f*****g hours to render a 20 min video. Why?????? Can anyone help me? I really need some settings to render 1080p60fps videos faster, this is just awful. I am using Windows 10. Thanks in advance!

You write of a fresh Windows install. Did the person that did this finish up with drivers appropriate for the OS and your machine?

Pre-answer. Windows does not do this for us and the driver update button is still unreliable.

I preinstalled the windows since i know how to and I have one. Every driver is installed but only the graphics card driver is a beta. There is no support for my graphics card anymore.

Look around for motherboard drivers.

Without those the HDD speed can be a fraction of what it can be.

4GB ram is low for video editing but you know that.

I'd say it's confirmed the post Windows install work is incomplete. Sorry but I don't own your PC so I can't know the exact drivers to install, just that it's incomplete.
