The best I can offer is to:
1. Update the BIOS
2. Update the driver - specifically download and install it from the website.
3. Make sure your overscan settings on the video card are set to 0.
If you turn off the computer, leave the TV in PC mode and restart it, and are able to see the splash screen, then it's definitely a setting in the video card.

Have a Sony Vaio model fz210ce laptop that I have connected to a Samsung ln32a550p3xa LCD tv. Can not get get tv to recognized laptop. Found a link on Samsung sight that says this is a known problem. Followed link to Sony sight and imput model number. Followed Samsung instructions--said that if "event service update" was not listed for Sony laptop that the problem was some othe issue. Have searched online and this seems to be a real problem. Can someone please give me a concrete solution to this problem. Have tried several suggestions and still no luck. Called and talked to Samsung help line and they passed me to Sony and Sony passed me back to Samsung. Spent too much money to not have this work. Samsung--Sony Someone do you have a answer. Thank you in advance. Jim
