Mar 25, 2005 4:51AM PST

i've heard that with the sonys the video cards can be upgraded. i am not sure how. is it an internal card that can be upgraded? or do u have to get something external to upgrade it? its got a geforce4 32mb video in it now and i want to up that to at least 64mb or higher. is it possible? if so where can i go to get something to upgrade it?

I looked at the Sony site and found no such cards offered.

it doesn't necessarily have to be from sonys site, i've seen some cards on ebay was wondering if maybe there are any aftermarket cards or something that will work for it, i just can't manage to get a search narrowed down enough to find what i want i keep getting things totally unrealated to what i want to find... i hate the internet lol jkin

I looked and the answer was "no".

The rule of thumb is that if the machine has shared ram video, then there is no upgrade... ever.

Also, if you look and don't find the maker offering cards, that's another sign.

I see 2 "no"s so far.
