I have two sony Vaio notebook. VGN-CR353 and VGN-FE11H . I can Connect PC to 46A650 no problem. Even when PC is off by connecting video cable I see in the menu PC gets active and I can choose PC as input but with VGN-FE11H I couldn't get PC to be active on TV menu. I did what ever possible but TV seems not detecting notebook but with VGN-CR353 after turning both TV and notebook on when I hibernate notebook for a few seconds I saw "PC" gets active in the menu and I can choose PC as the input and after hibernate turn on notebook and choosing VGA of monitor + vga using "Fn-F7" bottons I can see notebook screen on the TV.
Why my descktop PC connects so easy but my notebooks takes a lot of effort to be detected by 46A650 LCD TV? Is this TV problem because TV is still under replacement warrenty and if this is a problem I would replace it because I intend to watch HD films via my notebook most of the times. Repairman from samsung said this is problem with vaio notebooks because descktop PC is detected with no problem.
