Question

Sony Vaio Laptop Audio

Apr 3, 2016 3:22PM PDT

Does anybody know how I can beef up the audio on this Sony Vaio? My HP used to rock but this thing sounds like a 70s pocket transistor radio with a low battery. I can barely hear it. Can better speakers be installed or audio card? Would external speakers help? Thanks for any info on this.

I've yet to see anyone replace laptop speakers (internal)

I put my laptop on externals and they sound fine. Caveat: I am not an audiophile but can tell it helped. There are so many fine bookshelf speakers today that I can't pick one over another.

Laptop speakers are very basic things.

If you have a sound icon in the notification area click on it and see what the volume level is set at.

Check into some external speakers or headphones.
