Sony UX50 vs. TH50 vs. Dell X30 w/ bluetooth&wifi

Mar 5, 2005 12:03PM PST

I'm aware that I maybe shouldn't buy a PDA with all the talk with the PDA market going downhill.

Meanwhile, I just want an expensive toy, mostly for multimedia stuff, such as:

watching movies
occational use of digital camera
checking email and surfing via wifi at school
maybe internet access during trips with a bluetooth phone,
and scheduling.

I handle my PIM stuff on my cellphone, which is CDMA and has no bluetooth. Sad Hopefully they're come out with some good CDMA phones with bluetooth soon. I have a laptop, but I don't like to carry it around all day.

So my first question is, should I buy spend around $400 and buy a PDA or just wait around for something like a treo650 with wifi?

And if I do buy it, which one of the three should I buy? One gripe about the TH55 is that it doesn't have BT, which isn't too much of a problem.

Well, hope I get some key answers to help make my decision.
Thank you!
