SONY UPPING SMALL CLAIMS SUIT TO CIVIL COURT!

Jun 25, 2012 6:48AM PDT

I hope someone can help me with this. When I filed a small claims suit last month against Sony for the defective optical block in my KDS55A2000, they hired a local attorney firm and sent me a 54-page Motion for Dismissal which means it's no longer in Small Claims Court. This just doesn't seem fair or just. My optical block failed a few months ago so I had no idea about the class-action lawsuit back in 2008-2009. I was never notified about the suit and Sony never told me I had a defective optical block even though the TV is registered. I have ten days to respond to the dismissal motion. What can I do? I'm hoping that their tactics can reach the national media, but I don't know how to do that. I tried calling and emailing local TV stations, but they don't seem interested in helping me with this. Thanks for any help you can provide.
