Sony TV

Nov 8, 2004 10:05PM PST

I?m going to buy a Sony TV. I?m deciding between the KDF60WF655 and KDF60XS955. I believe the biggest advantage of the KDF60XS955 is the 2 HDMI inputs. I plan on buying a new DVD player with an HDMI output and I will have HDTV also. I?m not sure the KDF60XS955 is worth an extra $400. Is there a splitter for HDMI? If I just ran component input from my DVD would I really notice the difference?

We purchased Sony's LCD Projection TV model KDF-60XBR950 last November. The projection lamp has burned out twice. Sony replaced the first one free of charge. I'm having to buy the second replacement at an infuriating price of $200.
