I have a Sony TRV-320 and my MAC (G4, OS X 10.3.9) has no trouble with it.
What Mac OS and what Mac are you using?? John
The interesting thing is this: In the past I have used the TRV350 for capturing to my MAC (not this particular MAC though, nor this OS).
What happens is this: I connect the TRV350 via the iLink (firewire) cable to my MAC. The camera recognizes that it has been connected to another source as "DV IN" appears on the screen. However, the MAC does not see the camera.
Using this same cable, port, etc... I AM able to connect my CANON OPTURA10 with no problem.
NOTE: The TRV350 is NOT recognized by APPLE as a supported camera, so I am hoping someone has figured out a way to make this work.
SIDE NOTE: I could simply connect the TRV350 to the OPTURA10 via the analog cables and the OPTURA10 to the computer via the firewire - thus capturing the video. Unfortunately, my TRV350 is only sending a black and white signal out the analog AND S-video output.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
Dwaine
