I believe the power cord on my SXRD was part of the TV and not a separate cord.
Just curious, if you are having trouble lifting the TV, how did you lift and install the TV in the first place?
Most stupidist question! I got home with TV, upacked, set up on its stand. I have hooked up the dvd but I do not know where is the power cord, yes the electrical cord to plug in to turn on. Not pictured in their booklet. I was on phone with tech, and after 2 techies and 3 hrs later they could find no reference to it. On top of not finding anything on it, she told me to call up tomorrow, that they had just closed. At one time, among many such "holds," I waited 28 minutes without her coming back to tell me how much she apologies, and would go away before I could ask question, like, does the supervisor, vice-president, of this woebegone 8th circle, the Sony TV Technical Assistant.have an electoral cold coming out of one ear or another oriface.
I am limited at what I can do, because 85 lbs. is out of my weight class since I was on the Greek Weightlifting team. I can though lift up on one angle, its greater weight borne by the table on which it resides.. Sorry for the digression. but niether am I a Sony TV Technical Assistant, so might I ask you, cher lecture! Where did you see a power cord on your TV? When you unpacked it? gracias, --m0
