Sony SR100 Camcorder- Can I run on AC power only? Help!

I just ordered a SR100 and now someone told me that
I can NOT run this camcorder off of ac power only?
Is that true?

I want to record for 4-5 hours straight and DO not
want to BUY and/or have to swap out batteries.

Can someone that OWNS a SR100 help me?

Hey- thanks...

Do you have one? My friend said that he had one
and it pluged in the wall to CHARGE the battery
only and would not operate on AC power only??

I just ordered one and can not use a camcorder that
can't operate on "ac only"
