Sony SR-660P Woofer is not working while play USB

Dear Friends,

I had purchased new Sony SR-660P DVD Player. There is 5.1 working while play DVD Videos. But when i play from USB, only 2 rear speakers working even woofer is not working. I had tried to change settings. But no use. In all the options, only 2 rear speaker only working. How can i get woofer working while play USB. Please help me and suggest me.

Most content from the internet is simply stereo. There can be other issues such as the decoder may only support stereo.

-> Let's start simple. What audio encoding did a tool like MEDIA INFO (see google) report?

Media info showing Joint Stereo/MS Stereo....

If you inspected this and found stereo and didn't get what that meant I can't go any further.

I think you found the reason and need some time to think about it.
