the a2000 and xbr2's will not experience this model.
realistically, i'd say no one would know until its been on for an X amount of hours just like the xbr1. it is a little annoying imho because this tv has an amazing picture out of the box....but x amount of hours, the green appear and i'm pretty sure sony's parts are on backorder or something.
or it could be sony's plan all along? make a tv look great for the first few months so everyone buys it, then it'll be made to break. either they take care of this problem for all customers...or i smell a LARGE class action lawsuit on their hands.
I can't understand why the editors still rate this TV so highly when it has had so many problems reported by users on http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=584936&page=437&pp=30
Summary of problem is a green blob appearing on screen after X number of hours of use. Owners are reporting Sony is not very responsive to resolving this problem. Sony is replacing light engines, etc and users still reporting the problem. Will this problem continue with the A2000?
