sony sonic stage, converting problem

for some reason, when i try to convert a mp3 song to atrac, it converts it but in a VERY tiny size (around 900kb) and when i try to play it, it only lasts til 0.0 seconds, virtually nothing at all.

additionally when i play the track, sony sonic stage freezes up and i have to [crt. + alt + del] it.

anyone know whats causing this? it wasnt lyk this before... thanks in advance

PS. i tried uninstalling it and installing it various times but i still have the same problem

i use sonicstage because i have a mp3 player. in the tools options in sonic stage go to options go to cd drive settings. got to cd importing,under format chose select format, then choose atrac, and bit rate of 132 for mp3. try that might help
