Sony recall due to overheating

by Willy / September 7, 2010 5:00 AM PDT

Sony has made a recall for "overheating issue" or related to it. Now, visit the Sony website and/or check to see if your model# is listed. Sony 800#
(866)496-7669 as provided by my source.

OVERHEATING, is becoming a common issue on laptops. While the causes do vary, its worth it to visit your laptop maker's support website and check now and later, if you experience an overheating problem. It doesn't matter what brand laptop either, its that common of a problem.

What causes, over heating:

1) batteries (bad/poor)
2) BIOS poor/improper setting
3) improper AC charger
4) bad venting fans or dust clogged heatsink/tube(s)
5) blocked exhaust vents
6) extreme system usage (gaming?)
7) environment
Cool system software improper

Good luck -----Willy Happy

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
