Sony PD170 Viewfinder

Apr 15, 2006 3:44AM PDT

I'm a novice camera operator. Can anyone tell me why I see black and white images when I look through the viewfinder on my Sony PD170? I have learned that the LCD display doesn't always give accurate accountings for light, so I'm hoping the viewfinder will.

Any help anyone can give me will be deeply appreciated.

Thank you.
