UPDATE: I got to turn on the player, it goes fine until I press the Play button to start playing music, then the player goes dead.
Ok, this is going to be a long thread, so please bear with me for a while.
Basically, I've always been a discman user, but a few weeks ago mine broke down for good. I was looking for some tools yesterday to open it up, and I found my brother's old MP3 player, which had broken down, I don't even remember what the problem was. Being the "open-stuff-up" maniac that I am, I had to open it up.

(That's what I found when I opened them up)
Now, it doesn't say a model number or anything, but I took note of some of the stuf that's in there, namely 2 Samsung K9K4G08U0M, one chip that says ATJ2085P, one that says TEA5767. Pics ahead.

However, what called my attention the most was that upon immediate opening, this thing fell off. I can't figure out quite well what it says, but it's something along the lines of 47648104.

I'm guessing that's the problem, but I'm not quite sure, can anyone tell me what that piece does and what I should do with it? Solder it up?
