SONY- LAPTOP

HELP!! I bought a sony VGN-S580 ON SEP 12 FROM THE SONY SITE FOR 2700$. I ALSO BOUGHT A WARRANTY FOR 163$. ON NOV 4TH I NOTED THAT THE SCREEN APPEARED TO HAVE AN "INK BLOT STAIN ON THE LCD SCREEN. ISENT IT TO SONY-THEY'RE SAYING I PHYSICALLY DMAGED THE LCD SCREEN AND WANT ANOTHER 750$ TO FIX IT. I DID NOT DAMAGE THE SCREEN. ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS OR SIMILAR PROBLEM?? THANKS

I've heard of a heavy book sitting on top of the laptop to cause this.

Sony will maintain that's abuse.

thats how they work as well as hp they are brother and sister in ripping off there customers.im finding that out once again dealing with a ipaq pda through HP.customer care teck support rating in the last 5 days.they get a 2 out of 10

call sony and demand to speak to a supervisor. If the supervisor refuses to help you, speak to his supervisor. Keep baggering them and threaten to contact the BBB (Better Buisness Bureau). Sooner or later, they will just want to get rid of you.

on my sony grx690 3 years ago it took me 4 month to get resolve.i had one of the guys on top that said nope your out of luck.then i got tuff.after 4 months a had a 2 inch thick folder of letters as well as letters to the perz of sony.they sent me a notebook replacement junk that broke a year later after the warrenty expired.Sony customers are always wrong thats there way of thinking when it come to the pc
