Sony KDSR50XBRL

Nov 23, 2005 11:08PM PST

I looked at this new Sony model yesterday - it's LCD a silicone enhanced LCD and was blown away. It clearly beat the plasma pictures. I mean it clearly beat the plasma screen for picture integrity and clarity. I had never notice the hazy, humidity like distortion that appears on all plasma screens. None on the new Sony. And the price is around $4k. I was set to wait on the Panasonic 500U but now I am close to pulling the triggeron the Sony. Thoughts anyone? Thanks.

Iam looking at the Sony 70'

I saw your set here in san jose ca. and the 70' was next to the 50' t.v. they both looked awsome the difference is the 70' pulls you into the picture like a movie theater. I now own a 2 year old 3 ton 3 tube rear project 65' Sony it has a very good picture but the new l.c.d. Sonys are so bright and crisp and with tons of color that I might sell my old set on ebay and get the 70. Sony please let me know what Sony you buy happy holidays stewart norrie cadillacstew@aol.com
