and I bought the KDS55A2000. Reason, facts, since 95% of all programming is SD:
Mosquito noise = nod to Sony, there is none.
Screen Door Effect = nod to sony, there is none.
Pixelazation = nod to Sony, least of all brands.
Rainbow/Halo effect = nod to Sony, there is none.
Moving parts = Sony has none.
HD programming looks like film on a Sony.
You really need to look at SD programming before you decide. No one will tell you this for a reason. They want you to see the HD results. You need to see what you'll be watching 90% of the time.
My heart was set on the Sony 50" SXRD 1080p but when I was at the store ready to buy it, the 6" screen advantage from Samsung 56" 1080p made me change my mind and I ordered the Samsung. Both TV's are rated high from all of the research I have done, but I am just wondering what people's thoughts are on giving up the Sony for 6" of screen area.......price was only $100.00 difference. Should I stick with the Samsung?
