You see this complaint a lot over a general area I'm going to call "motion processing." I tend to turn all that off and try any "game" mode too.

Have only had this TV for about 2 weeks and it has an excellent picture but for some reason during NHL hockey games (only during play) the screen appears to flicker periodically. Is this caused by the contrast between the white ice surface and the darker colors where the fans sit? Is it due to reflections off the glass over the boards? I have tried various settings and picture adjustments but it is still noticeable. I have not noticed this phenomena while watching any other sports events or while watching games on our older smaller Panasonic. We have the same cable setup with the addition of HD broadcasts. Any thoughts?
