It is true that you can only view HD on the left PIP.
The left tuner is HD right tuner SD. I split the incoming cable one input to cable box and the other input straight to tv. The HD shows and the higher numbered digital channels including the HD channels can be viewed on the right side if you have a cable card and the digital box the picture can be viewed but its not in HD but can beviewed on the riught side,.
Help. Can anyone help with a HDTV question using the twin view function. I am using over the air HD signal, but can only view one HDTV signal at a time with the twin picture function. HD signals will show on the left but are not viewable on right side. This does not apply to other sources ("DVD" signals that can be viewed or analog signals that can also be viewed)
According to Sony customer service this is because the system only has one tuner. Theoretically they say if I split the signal from the antenna I should be able to get twin HD screens but i am at a loss on how to accomplish this.
Thanks in Advance! ![]()
