NOTE: HDMI does not support *DVI* interfaces with computers.
There is a difference between signal resolutions that your TV can understand/receive & the actual resolution it displays video in. If your video device (TV) receives video with more/less resolution than its native display size, then it scales it down/up to fit. Your native display is XGA (1386 x 788), so I imagine that both 720p & 1080i look nice on your screen. It does a small amount of down scaling for the 1080i.
I couldn't find any info on what signals your TV can receive through HDMI. But I do know that HDMI supports 480i,480p,720p,1080i, & the computer formats VGA, XGA and SXGA.
I'd like to know if anyone has hooked up this TV to a computer. If you have, what is the highest resolution you are able to get and what did you use (HDMI, S-VIDEO OR COMPOSIT).
