Sony KD-34XBR960 TV question?

Hi

Could you help me please,with some advice about Sony KD-34XBR960.
I know that Sony TV KD-34XBR960 it's a TV on NTSC system,but I would like to ask you if it's gonna function on European PAL/Secam standard,because I want to buy one,and I live in Europe.

Hi,
I have the same issue, I need a TV which I can use in both sides of the Atlantic. I checked this with Sony USA and Panasonic USA. I've been told that they don't sell any multim system TV's in USA.

The worse part is, I don't think they produce the KD-34XBR960 in Pal and Secam. I checked most of the other Sony websites but couldn't find any info on this.
I would say your best bet could be some Hitachi and/or Toshiba big screen TV's, but then the ones that are multisystem are not rated highly.

If you are living in Europe and will be living there, I guess you need to wait for Sony to launch this product over in Europe. There may be a converter but I'm not sure if it can work with all 1080 p- HDTV stuff.After all you want this TV as it's one of best in the market.

Pls let me know if you can find any solution as I'm chasing after this too.
