Sony Handycam software for vista (64 bit)

I need some software for importing videos off my camera on to my laptop. the camera is an HDR-SR7E and the included software stops responding when i click import video. is there any software that will work on my computer that runs on 64 bit?

NO. I DID NOT TEST THIS.

1. Connect with fireware.
2. Import with WINDV.

Sorry I don't have a V64 to test with but reports say it works on machines that came with V64. I will note that home built machines are not so lucky.
