Dec 18, 2005 6:13AM PST

hello, i got a sony handycam DCR-HC19E for my birthday, and REALLY would like to know if anyone knows how to get photos off it,

as it says it takes pictures and i can upload the 7 second pics, but i cant find normal pictures which arent 7 seconds. i was just wondering whether anyone knew how to?? if it is possible!

as im very annoyed i cant find them!

yep! im annoyed as i have read through the manual hundreds of times and cant figure it out! as the still pictures it says it takes cant surely be the 7 second ones can it? otherwise that is pointless for the use i want it for!

as i wanted to take pictures and video!

i didnt worry about the quality of the pictures too much, but i cant afford to get a digital camera aswell! so i thought it would be ideal to get both together!

Since there appears to be no still camera in this one....

Take the 7 second video to an .AVI or such then use IRFANVIEW (google.com) to get one image.
