Sony Ericsson Z500 - Mysterious Icon

Jan 17, 2006 9:55AM PST

There is an icon showing up on the top of my screen that I cannot figure out for the life of me what it is for. I looked through the manual at all the icons and it is not there. I looked through all the icons on the phone too, nothing. It is showing up where the icon for voice mail, text messages, etc.. show up. It is an envelope with an upper case A in the top right corner. What is it?! How do I get rid of it?! PLEASE help. It's driving me mad!

Sorry, just thought what you described was in my Sony Ericsson P910 manual and thought it might be the same thing. If you have regular txt msg active, that might be how the phone recognized an incoming txt.
