Sony Ericsson W810i + 4GB Pro Duo. Possible?

by Khairul22 / June 23, 2006 10:37 PM PDT

Hi.

I'm thinking of upgrading my memory stick for my W810i to 2GB pro duo until I heard of Sandisk's 4GB pro duo.

Has anybody tried whether the W810i can support 4GB Pro Duo?

And what actually constricts a device on the maximum memory that it can support? It is firmware/software?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Yond Ranger for the reply.

The reason I asked this question is because firstly, the W810i is said to to be able to use up to 2GB Pro Duo. Secondly, I received a reply from SE technical support that the W810i cannot use the 4GB Pro Duo. Thirdly, I've read in forums elsewhere that the W810i is capable of handling 4GB Pro Duo.

W810i craped out with 2G memory stick pro duo
by mkbtam / October 28, 2006 8:06 PM PDT

I bought a no name 2G memory stick pro duo at eBay first and my W810i flashes white screens after I transfer about 300MB to the stick. I thought it was the problem with the card and then purchased a brand name SanDisk 4G pro duo from Fry's. I am able to transfer my whole song library of 1.5G but after I disconnect the cable, my W810i started to flash white screens as the other stick. It works fine with the Sony 128M stick that came with the phone though. I don't know which sticks will it work properly.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
