Sony Ericsson T637 vs Samsung SGH-E316

Feb 28, 2005 9:57AM PST

I have the option of getting any of these phones for pretty much the same price but I can't decide on which one to get. The only 2 things I care about are the batterylife and reception. CNET rates both of them as 7.6, so which one should I get?

I own the Samsung E-317 (almost identical as E-316). I am very impressed. Great quality/features/reception. No experience w/ the Sony Ericsson T637, but the Samsung is a folding phone and is newer.

My only problem with the Samsung was fast battery drain (two different batteries and 2 different phones - ended up getting a Moto). Otherwise it was one of the best phones I have ever used.

a few of my friends have the samsung phone and they complain about battery life too.

I might just go for a nokia or moto if they have better batterylife and reception the the sammy or se.

I'm happy with Motos, my brother though prefers the Nokia. I guess it's all personal taste. Good luck.
