PROBLEM SOLVED I THINK?

Your question is not very clear. But to make your hi-def cheepie t.v. look stunning do this. The dish hi-def tuner has d.v.i. output not h.d.m.i. use this output then you must have a d.v.d. player with d.v.i. output. set the player to 1080 and add a giffin d.v.i. switcher to toggle between your d.v.d. player and sat box I hace an old 65" sony rear project t.v. 3 tube unit and I had to set it up this way and now the picture from my sat system and d.v.d. player look awsome also you can buy adapters to go from h.d.m.i. to d.v.i. good luck stewart norrie
